Jörg Arweiler

Elektronische Musik war früh mehr als Hintergrundrauschen: Soundtracks aus Filmen und Games wurden aufgenommen, geschnitten, zu eigenen Mixtapes gebaut. Später folgten Clubnächte – und der Versuch, Lieblingssets zuhause mit einfachen Mitteln nachzubauen. Musik war nie Phase, sondern Konstante. Als treuer Hörer von Evosonic Radio seit 1997 wuchs der Wunsch, selbst hinter Mikro und Decks zu stehen – inspiriert unter anderem von Chris Maico Schmidt. Beruflich schlug Jörg Arweiler zunächst andere Wege ein: Jurist, Kaufmann, Unternehmer.

2021 kreuzten sich die Wege erneut. Für Großveranstaltungen wie „hello2AI“ und „MOVE!“ holte er Evosonic als Medienpartner an Bord. Aus Zusammenarbeit wurde Nähe, aus Nähe Engagement. Der frühere Traum nahm konkrete Form an. Heute moderiert Jörg Arweiler „Innovation Germany“, sendet als „JARWEILER“ regelmäßig auf Evosonic Radio und veröffentlichte gemeinsam mit Philipp Giebel einen Track auf Evosonic Records.

Electronic music was never just background noise. As a teenager, he recorded soundtracks from films and video games, cutting them into his own mixtapes. Later came club nights – and the attempt to recreate his favorite DJ sets at home with minimal equipment. Music was always a constant. A loyal listener of Evosonic Radio since 1997, Jörg Arweiler developed the ambition to follow in the footsteps of DJs like Chris Maico Schmidt. Professionally, however, he initially pursued a career as a lawyer and businessman.

In 2021, paths crossed again. For major events such as “hello2AI” and “MOVE!”, he brought Evosonic on board as media partner. Collaboration evolved into close exchange – and the long-held dream became reality. Today, Jörg Arweiler hosts “Innovation Germany,” holds a regular slot on Evosonic Radio as “JARWEILER,” and released a joint track with Philipp Giebel on Evosonic Records.
